How does Lime get my data?
You give it to us. You download the data export available on your LinkedIn Download My Data page and then upload it to Lime.
Is that allowed?
Yes. It's your data so you're free to do what you like with it.
Can I send loads of DMs at the same time?
No way. That's spammy and Lime is the opposite. It helps you send more DMs, and to the right people. But not in an automated way that will get your account banned.
Why isn't it all automated?
Two big reasons: firstly – automation is a quick way to get your account banned on LinkedIn; secondly – you get to choose what's important and ignore the rest. There's no point just replicating everything that's already in LinkedIn.
Will Lime get my LinkedIn account restricted or banned?
Nope. We're the only LinkedIn CRM that's fully compliant with LinkedIn's terms of service. We don't automate connection requests, bulk messaging, or any of the dodgy stuff that gets accounts flagged. Instead, Lime helps you manage relationships and content strategically – all the engagement happens through you, naturally, just better organized.
Will you sell my data or spam my connections?
Never. Your data is yours. We don't sell it, we don't scrape it for other purposes, and we certainly don't message your connections on your behalf.

Isn't this what Sales Navigator does?
No. That tool's more about discovery and mass outreach. Lime is about nourishing the connections you already have (and the ones you're making every day) in an efficient, targeted way.
How much time does Lime actually save me?

Does Lime integrate with my existing CRM?
Not yet, but it's on our roadmap. Right now, Lime works best as your LinkedIn-specific relationship hub. Most of our customers find they actually prefer keeping their LinkedIn network management separate from their main CRM because the relationship dynamics are different. But if integration is critical for you, let us know – we prioritize features based on what our customers actually need.

How long does setup take?

Is £24/month worth it for a small business?
If you're using LinkedIn for business development, one good client relationship pays for a year of Lime. The question isn't whether £24/month is expensive. It's whether you're currently letting valuable connections slip through the cracks because you don't have a system to manage them. If you've ever forgotten to follow up with someone important, or posted into the void without a strategy, Lime pays for itself.
Why isn't it free-forever free?
Because then you would become the product, there would be advertising everywhere and investors would probably be demanding sale of your data to everyone who asked for it. By charging, we can shield you from all of that nastiness :)
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. No contracts, no lock-ins. Cancel whenever you want and you won't be charged again. We'd rather you stay because Lime genuinely helps your business than trap you into a subscription you're not using.

Do I need to be good at LinkedIn already?
Not at all. Lime works whether you're posting daily or just getting started. If you know your relationships matter but you're not sure how to leverage LinkedIn strategically, that's exactly who Lime is for.
What if my LinkedIn network is small?
Perfect. Now's the time to build it strategically rather than reactively. Lime helps you track your growing network, and nurture relationships from the start. It's actually easier to build a strong foundation with Lime than to try to retrofit a system onto 10,000 random connections later.
