Strategy Page

Know what you’re doing on LinkedIn, and why

For some, comments are the baboon’s bananas. For others, respectfully sliding into DMs might be where it’s at. Others might be a newbie or have fallen out of love with their business network and any little action might be important.

Your Lime strategy is just that - your Lime strategy.

Move the fun little sliders across to set your strategy and the importance of each action type:

  • Viewing profiles (heading to their profile through the platform, or clicking the handy Lime link)
  • Leaving comments (commenting under people’s posts)
  • Sending DMs (sending a direct message)
  • Having great conversations (this can mean whatever you want it to mean)

Quick tip: the further to the right your slider compared to the others, and the more lime colour you can see, the more important that type of action is to you.

Your 28 day strategy score shows how much/well you’ve been using LinkedIn over the last 28 days. To set how much you’re rewarded for each action, go to the strategy page.

You can change this at any time, but it will affect your 28 day strategy score. How you set it is totally up to you, and what you want to get out of LinkedIn.

Here are some examples:

This person (let’s call him Dave) thinks comments and great conversations are the bees knees. He wants to focus on building up relationships with people this way, so doesn’t want to be rewarded much for viewing profiles or sending DMs, which he feels can be spammy or take a long time to get right.

Davina, on the other hand, knows LinkedIn is great for her business but doesn’t use it as often as she’d like to. So she wants to be rewarded for any of her LinkedIn activity.

Reg prefers to view lots of profile and send loads of DMs. They’re a recruiter so quickly getting to the point is what they prefer to do.
