Tag Manager

Add new tags en masse, change their names, delete them and colour code their labels

Tags are very useful things for categorising and grouping your connections. Read about them here.

Adding tags

You can add a number of tags at the same time ready to use from the Tag Manager page. Simply type your new tags in the bar at the top separated with commas and click the Add button:

Styles

Tags can be given one of three styles to change their appearance. It’s up to you how you use these, they have no special meaning in the system.

To change a style, just select the relevant circle next to the tag name.

Edit or delete a tag

To edit a tag name or delete the tag, click it to show a popup.

When you edit the name - the tags in all your existing records that use it are updated.

If you delete a tag, it’s removed from all the records it was attached to (obviously this doesn’t delete the connections)

Merge tags

To merge tags, drag the tag you want to remove onto the tag you want to keep.

For example if you have two tags “marketing” and “marketing person” and you realise you don’t really need marketing person anymore, drag marketing person onto marketing.

When merging tags the one you’re dragging gets deleted, the one you drop onto gets all the records and the remains.
